Side tables in silver, gold, or black-gold

A side table in silver or chrome looks cool and clear, pairing well with grey sofas, glass, and bright rooms. Gold adds warmth and a touch of glamour, especially with a glass or marble top. The black-gold combination is very popular: a black frame with a gold rim or base looks elegant while remaining understated. These are complemented by calm tones such as cream, beige, and brown.

Round side tables and 2-piece sets

More than half of our side tables are round – without corners, they are easier to place next to sofas and armchairs. As a 2-piece set in two sizes and heights, the tables can stand together as a group or individually in different spots. Typical sizes range between 40 and 60 cm in diameter.

What height should a side table be?

As a rule of thumb, the side table should be about the same height as the sofa armrest, usually 50 to 65 cm. Next to an armchair with high armrests or as a bedside table, a side table with a height of 65 cm works well. In front of the sofa, a lower coffee table takes over the role of the main surface.
