Corduroy Corner Sofa – Ottoman left or right

With a corduroy corner sofa, the ottoman determines the entire room layout: if you sit with a view towards the window, the long section usually goes to the right; for a wall niche, rather to the left. That's why our corduroy corner sofa in gray and gray-green is available in both versions – ottoman left and ottoman right. The corduroy sofa 3-seater in taupe is the classic: enough space for three, compact enough for normal living rooms. Those with a lot of space can opt for the corduroy sofa with a width of 408 cm made of coarse wide-wale corduroy – a piece of furniture that doesn't just furnish the room, but defines it. In between are the corner variants, which can be placed against a wall or in a niche.

Fine-wale corduroy or wide-wale corduroy – what's the difference?

Corduroy differs mainly in rib width. Fine-wale corduroy has narrow, closely spaced ribs, appears more elegant and calmer, and suits subtly furnished rooms. Wide-wale corduroy has significantly wider
ribs, appears coarser, more modern, and more artisanal. Our 408 cm model is made of wide-wale corduroy, the other corduroy sofas are made of finer fabric.

Colors: Taupe, Gray, Gray-Green, and Ivory

Taupe is the most uncomplicated shade – a warm grey-brown that goes with wood, natural stone, and almost any wall color, and never looks out of fashion even after years. Gray remains the all-rounder and can easily be combined with other furniture later. Gray-green adds a subtle splash of color without being obtrusive. Ivory appears the brightest and lightest, but is the most sensitive option – good for households without pets and small children.

Proper corduroy care

Regularly vacuum with the upholstery nozzle in the direction of the ribs – this prevents dust from settling in the grooves. Gently dab stains with a slightly damp cloth, always from the outside in, and let the area air dry. Raised fibers can be smoothed again with a soft brush in the direction of the nap. This way, the corduroy couch remains consistently beautiful for years.
