Wood type and care:
The wood type is Ayous. The Ayous used for this set is FSC-certified wood and therefore comes from well-managed forests. Since Ayous wood has an open cell structure, it can be perfectly thermally preserved by treating it with steam or heat without the use of chemicals. The wood is heated up to 215° Celsius. Due to "burning in", Thermo Ayous is more moisture-resistant, exceptionally stable and remains maintenance-free for years (durability class I). After Thermo Ayous wood has been treated, it has a beautiful, modern and warm appearance and changes due to weathering, gradually turning grey (just like tropical hardwood). To maintain the natural color of Ayous wood furniture, we recommend treating the wood with Exotan Teak Sealer. If the wood has already aged, it is important to first clean the furniture with Exotan Teak Cleaner and then apply Exotan Teak Sealer.

The table leg is made of powder-coated steel tube frame with dimensions of 80 mm x 80 mm.
