A pendant light focuses light where you eat, cook, and talk. Whether above the dining table, the kitchen counter, or in the middle of the living room, it becomes the room's most important design element. Pendant light above the dining table – height and size

As a rule of thumb, the bottom edge of the pendant light should hang 60 to 70 cm above the tabletop. This ensures the light doesn't glare and the view across the table remains unobstructed. The diameter should be about one-third of the table's width: for a 120 cm round table, a light with a diameter of 40 to 50 cm is ideal. Above long tables, two or three smaller pendant lights arranged in a row work best.

Rattan pendant light – natural and warm

Rattan filters the light, casting a warm, lively pattern on the ceiling and walls. A rattan pendant light complements country-style, boho, and Scandinavian interiors. Large models with a diameter of 60 cm or more almost look like works of art above the dining table.

Black-gold, brass, white, or glass

A black-gold pendant lamp looks elegant: the matte black recedes while the gold details catch the light. Brass provides a classic, sophisticated touch. White pendant lights made of glass or metal diffuse the light softly and pair well with bright kitchens. Silver and chrome create cool, modern accents.
