Cognac Armchairs – Leather that Gains Character

Cognac is the most popular shade for leather armchairs, and for good reason: genuine cognac leather darkens with age and develops a patina that no new piece of furniture can replicate. We offer cognac armchairs as classic wingback chairs with high backrests, as swivel lounge chairs, and as aviator chairs in an aircraft design with an aluminum shell. A cognac armchair pairs well with dark wood, green, and all shades of gray.

Petrol, Gray, Anthracite, and Taupe  

If you don't want a brown shade: the petrol armchair is our most sought-after color model – a deep blue-green that works as the sole color accent in neutral rooms. A modern armchair in gray or anthracite remains understated and can easily be combined with other furniture later. Lounge chairs are also available in taupe, blue, red, silver, and white with a gold frame.

Fabric, Corduroy, Leather, Plastic, and Metal

Fabric and corduroy covers are warm and comfortable, while leather is the easiest to care for. A white plastic chair is easy to wipe clean and some are suitable for outdoor use. Chairs made of stainless steel or with a metal frame in an industrial design combine a seat shell and metal – robust and easy to clean. Classic country-style chairs made of wood with rattan weaving complete the assortment.

Cowhide and Fur Armchairs

A cowhide armchair is a unique piece – no two hides are alike. On a chrome-plated or black metal frame, the cowhide armchair appears modern rather than rustic and pairs well with concrete finishes, glass, and leather. If you prefer a softer look, choose an armchair with long-haired fur.

Wingback, Lounge, or Club Armchair?  

The wingback armchair has a high backrest with side "wings" that protect against drafts – the most comfortable armchair for reading. The lounge chair is flatter and wider, often swiveling, and invites you to lean back. The club chair is compact, deep, and usually made of leather – ideal when space is limited. As a complement to a seating group, an armchair pairs well with our sofas and round sofas.

Dimensions, Materials, and Additions

Our armchairs are between 70 and 100 cm wide – from 70 cm, you can sit comfortably; from 90 cm, you can pull up your legs.
