Additional info:
Pine wood: Solid wood furniture made of pine is lacquered and sanded to make the structure of the wood visible. Grey, white, and black variants may also have been brushed using a special process so that the natural and uniquely grown structure of each individual tree is particularly highlighted. Therefore, it is not a reason for complaint or a defect if you can feel and see a strongly prominent wood structure in brushed pine furniture.

Please note the material information regarding the saw-cut surface: This is sawn pine wood without further finishing such as planing or sanding.
This gives this piece of furniture a rustic, vintage style.
